PALLADON UNVEILS IRON BULL MINING AND MILLING
TO THE IRON COUNTY COMMUNITY
Salt Lake City, Utah, June 28, 2007. Palladon Ventures Ltd. (TSX.V: PLL) (Frankfurt: PV-1) is pleased to announce that Palladon Iron Corp. – its private operating subsidiary – is now doing business as Iron Bull Mining and Milling.
Iron Bull Mining and Milling follows in the footsteps of the Columbia Iron Mining Company, US Steel, Geneva Steel and others, as the operator at historic Iron Mountain in Iron County, Utah. As one of the newest members of the Iron County community, Iron Bull Mining and Milling unveiled its new name as an official sponsor of the Wendy Wood Memorial Rodeo in Cedar City, Utah, on June 22 and 23, with a new logo prominently displayed. The company’s staff gave Iron Bull-themed items to the crowd while the riders, ropers, wranglers and racers continued this annual Western tradition.
Iron Bull Mining and Milling also hosted the Cedar City Mayor’s Breakfast on June 28, where Mayor Gerald Sherritt presented his master plan to the chamber of commerce after a presentation on the Iron Bull Mining and Milling project.
After the tragic deaths of two young golden eagles near a shooting range in Iron County, Iron Bull Mining and Milling has partnered with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service by adding $1,500 to the $3,500 reward for the arrest and prosecution of those responsible. Iron Bull Mining and Milling has also placed its 24-hour security guards on special alert to assist officials in any way possible.
Don Foot, president and CEO of Palladon Ventures, said, “Iron mining was the commercial foundation for communities in Iron County, and in past years, it employed many local workers. Our new name is a tribute to the miners of the past, and it offers a fresh outlook on the future of iron mining in the area. Iron Mountain has an amazing history and we are excited to start a new chapter. We are delighted to work closely with the people of Iron County, and are eager to grow with them in years to come.”
